Limestone Coast SA A slow ripening period in 2004 meant that this vintage shows some unique characters. Asparagus dominates the nose with hints of kiwifruit. On the palate the wine is fairly herbaceous again showing cool climate characters typical of the season. The palate is dry with crisp acidity and a long lingering finish. The wine has been 25% barrel fermented in French oak barrels to add complexity and improve palate structure. The result: a fresh and zippy wine that is perfect with fish or tastes great by itself.
