An old Australian favourite from a company better known for its wines. Produced from Doradillo and Grenache grapes Black Bottle's distinctive packaging is matched by its double distilled taste. Pale amber colour with good depth. On the nose there are distinctive pot still characters with a hint of oiliness balanced by oak overtones. Smooth palate displaying a full round body though relatively light weight. Soft attractive oak finish with clean spirit. Pot stilled and aged in oak hogsheads for a minimum of two years Black Bottle consistently demonstrates good value. 37.1% alc./vol.
